Greg Johnson

Greg Johnson is an Asian American screenwriter of THE LAST SON (2021) and OLD GUY (2024).

THE LAST SON is a western-action feature film starring Sam Worthington, Colson Baker, Heather Graham, Thomas Jane, and directed by Tim Sutton. The film premiered at the Deauville American Film Festival. The original script, The Last Son of Isaac LeMay was a top ten finalist on the Blacklist.

His newest film OLD GUY is an action-comedy starring Christoph Waltz, Cooper Hoffman, Lucy Liu, and is directed by Simon West. It is scheduled for release in September 2024 by Avenue Pictures and The Highland Film Group.

Previously, Greg worked with 20th Century Fox Studios to develop four original features including an alternative version of the Fantastic Four franchise about DOCTOR DOOM. He has done assignments and sold scripts to Universal, Davis Entertainment, TIK Films, Blind Wink Productions, and Affiliated Pictures.

In television, Greg is a two-time finalist in the Warner Brothers Television Writers’ Workshop. He is currently developing an international action-adventure spy show with Bound Entertainment.
